Hartley Wintney Cricket Club
Hartley Wintney Cricket Club (HWCC) was formed in 1770 making us one of the two longest playing cricket clubs in the UK.
The club have an ever expanding membership base , with their Junior and Women’s sections now at the heart of their playing schedules , but they are always open to new enquiries.
HWCC have the good fortune to play the majority of our fixtures on The Green in Hartley Wintney which remains the hub of the village’s playing and social activities and now thanks to the tremendous support of Hartley Wintney’s Parish Council, also have the use of the grounds at the Lucy Pigott Centre on St Mary’s Park
They have also been very fortunate in forming a number of key commercial partnerships with several local businesses , spearheaded by the unstinting generosity of Webster Associates (HWCC’s words not ours!!). Without these the club would not be able to offer the current facilities and opportunity to our members.
Clanfield Bowls & Sports Club
Clanfield Bowls & Sports Club (CBSC) is a registered non-profit making Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO).
The Club has over170 members and is made up of people from all ages, abilities and backgrounds who can meet to enjoy playing or watching bowls, playing board games and taking part in other activities.
All of this helps to promote physical and mental well-being among its members. The Club prides itself on promoting a friendly ethos where all feel welcome and respected.
